These Terms govern your use of the RideForward website, screening and application forms, membership, credits and opportunity programmes. By using the website or submitting a form, you acknowledge these Terms. Membership purchase is a separate step and is not completed by submitting an initial screening form.
1. About RideForward
RideForward connects people with opportunities and experiences, including vehicle donations, travel, accommodation, events, education, partner offers and career development. It is operated by Global Connection Pvt Ltd. Global Connection may provide career development, professional training and coaching.
2. Eligibility and truthful information
You must be at least 18 unless a programme expressly allows younger participants with legally appropriate consent. You must provide accurate, current information, use your own identity and comply with programme rules. We may request reasonable information to verify identity, eligibility or application details. False or misleading information may result in rejection or account restrictions.
3. Initial screening and membership payment
The website’s initial form is a screening or interview request, not a paid membership registration. No membership payment is due when submitting that initial form. RideForward will review the request. If screening is approved, we may invite you to complete membership onboarding and pay the applicable membership fee. Screening approval does not itself confirm paid membership. Membership becomes active only after the required payment is received and verified and RideForward confirms activation.
4. Founding 100 lifetime membership
The founding offer is LKR 7,500 as a one-time payment, available to the first 100 confirmed founding members or until the campaign deadline, whichever occurs first. The campaign deadline and availability will be displayed by RideForward. A signup or screening submission does not reserve a founding place. No recurring membership fee applies to a confirmed founding lifetime membership.
“Lifetime” means the lifetime of the RideForward membership programme while it continues to operate; it is not a guarantee that RideForward or every benefit will exist permanently. The founding membership includes 500 credits per month and up to 5 opportunity applications per month, subject to eligibility, opportunity rules and available credits. Credits are platform credits, not cash, and cannot be redeemed for money or sold.
5. Credit carry-forward and transfer
Unused monthly credits carry forward to the following month. RideForward may set reasonable technical and abuse-prevention rules for credit accounting and application limits, but will not silently remove the carry-forward benefit described here. Founding membership may be transferred to another person's name by contacting RideForward and completing its reasonable identity, consent and account verification process. The transfer is not complete until RideForward confirms it. Membership cannot be sold for cash or transferred to multiple people simultaneously. Any transfer remains subject to applicable law and programme restrictions.
6. Opportunity programmes and partner offers
RideForward launch opportunities are secured with participating partners, but each is still subject to its published eligibility, dates, availability, included services, exclusions and partner conditions. Offers may include a motorcycle donation, a discounted European tour, a villa stay, event tickets, education discounts, restaurant offers and coaching. The exact terms for each opportunity will be published separately.
Membership, credits and an application do not guarantee selection or receipt of any donation, prize, scholarship, trip, accommodation, ticket, employment, coaching outcome or financial benefit. Offers may be limited in number. RideForward may screen applications and apply the selection method stated for that opportunity. Where a donor or partner makes the final decision, that decision remains theirs.
7. Vehicle donations
Vehicle donations depend on the donor and the specific programme. The vehicle’s condition, ownership, transfer, registration, insurance, inspection, taxes, maintenance, delivery and other costs will be addressed in the applicable opportunity information. Do not assume a vehicle is roadworthy or transferable unless this has been verified. Applicants must review the terms and applicable Sri Lankan requirements before accepting a vehicle.
8. Travel, accommodation, events and education
Specific offers will state relevant dates, locations, eligibility, booking rules, inclusions, exclusions and participant costs. Unless expressly included, members should not assume flights, visas, transport, meals, insurance, taxes or personal expenses are covered. Members are responsible for valid travel documents and compliance with entry requirements. RideForward does not guarantee visa approval or border entry. Education, coaching and career services do not guarantee admission, scholarships, employment, certification, income or business success.
9. Membership cancellation and refunds
You may contact RideForward to request account or membership cancellation. Cancellation does not automatically entitle a founding member to a refund. Refunds, statutory cancellation rights and remedies will be handled under applicable law and the terms shown at purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. If an opportunity is cancelled or materially changed, RideForward will communicate the change and consider any remedy required by law or the applicable offer terms.
10. Signup counter
The website signup counter is an informational count of successful signup submissions recorded by RideForward. It is not a count of paid or activated memberships and does not establish eligibility or selection. RideForward may correct duplicate, fraudulent or technically inaccurate counts. Official membership and payment records determine membership status.
11. Member conduct
You must not submit fraudulent applications, use multiple accounts to evade limits, manipulate selection, harass donors or partners, disclose others’ confidential information without permission, interfere with the website, abuse automated systems or use RideForward unlawfully. We may investigate and, where reasonable and lawful, reject applications, restrict access or suspend accounts. We will consider applicable paid-member rights and legal obligations when taking action.
12. Privacy and communications
RideForward processes personal information as described in its Privacy Policy. Relevant application details may be shared with a donor or partner when reasonably needed to assess or administer an opportunity. We may contact you about screening, applications, membership, payments, programme updates, security and service changes using the contact details you provide.
13. Website and third parties
We make reasonable efforts to maintain the website but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Hosting, payment, travel, accommodation, education and other services may be provided by third parties and may be subject to their own terms. RideForward is not responsible for independent provider decisions or services to the extent permitted by law. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Intellectual property and submitted content
RideForward branding, website content and designs may be protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the site for personal lawful purposes, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit its materials without permission except as permitted by law. You retain rights in your original application content and permit RideForward to use it to review and administer your application and related communications. Public use of your story, photo, testimonial or identifying details requires appropriate consent and compliance with law.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, RideForward is not responsible for non-selection, a donor’s decision, independent partner conduct, third-party service interruptions, inaccurate information supplied by a member or events beyond its reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury where it cannot be excluded, breach of non-excludable consumer rights, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits limiting.
16. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms for legal, operational, security or programme reasons. Material changes will be communicated through the website or appropriate member communications. Changes will not unlawfully remove accrued rights. These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and disputes may be brought before competent Sri Lankan courts, subject to applicable law. Members may also approach relevant authorities where legally entitled.
